D-Town Driftway is Duluth’s premiere Mario Kart 8 live band, and we want to put you in the driver’s seat. You race your friends in a head-to-head competition, while we play all the Mario Kart OST Hits! We got Sunshine Airport, we got Rainbow Road, we got everything your heart could desire. With Beck Fulin (Trumpet) and Devon Defoe (Saxophone), they add all the sweet and sultry horn lines that we could need. Our rhythm section consists of Marshall Dillon on Guitar, Luke Torrent on Drums, and Taylor Shykes on Bass. We’re here to play, and you should be too. $5 to play a Cup. FREE to spectate. Another Duluth band that can hold a groove. The Bass lines funk and the bootys move. Some songs tell stories and others tell moods. They sing about friends and they sing about foods. With Improvisations both jarring and dreamy, one guitar clucks and the other ones creamy. Looking for a band to follow outta the fog? Well look no further than Saltydog. Duluth-based northwoods funk jam band Saltydog consists of Jacob Mahon on guitar and vocals, drummer Owen “Owie”Mahon (who also does vocals), Sam Deters on guitar, Bryon “Lefty” Johnson on percussion, Calvin “Calzone” Lund on the Bass and Gavin St. Clair on the keys. “Fitting In” Album Release & Tour Kick Off Party
Bent Paddle Brewing 1832 West Michigan Street, Duluth, MN, United StatesThe Spine Stealers and Ross Thorn kick off their Western tour in Duluth! The show doubles as an album release for Thorn's second album, Fitting In. They'll be joined by TNT HiFi The Spine Stealers are a two-gal duo making “spooky folk” influenced by the north-wood Wisconsin pines, 24/7 truck stop diners, heartbreak and dark lakes. Kate and Emma started learning guitar together around bonfires in their shared hometown during the height of the pandemic, soon writing songs inspired by lonesome winters, the heartaches of nostalgia and broken ideas of love. The duo started frequenting open mics in July of 2022, which led them to a whirlwind first year as performers. It began with opening for Dead Horses at Madison’s Majestic Theater for Folk Fest 2023, then winning the 2023 Blue Ox Music Festival Virtual Band Competition, and releasing their first ever EP, “River Teeth Tapes” in July, 2023. 2024...
