Bent Paddle Brewing 1832 West Michigan Street, Duluth, MN, United StatesThe Trinkets are an indie pop rock band from Duluth founded by Elsie Zimmerman (vocals/guitar) and April Dressel (drums). They're inspired by the music of their parents' generation like Green Day, Weezer, Nirvana, and Radiohead, but they are also students of modern artists such as Chapelle Roan, Billie Eilish, and Clairo. Although they are a new band, they've played a fair share of shows around town, including Spirit of the Times and Gag Me With a Spoon. They've been working on a debut EP, and have recently released an original single, Anabelle. Fronted by vocalists Jenna Harting and Lisa Wentworth, Mid Dream cranks out upbeat pop-punky anthems, soul searching ballads, and some things decidedly neither. With Rachel Riefenberg on drums, Matt Prois on bass, Alex Nelson on keys, and Bryan Wentworth toeing the line between lead guitar and synthscape, their tunes are filled with compelling textures and powerful harmonies.
