Wheeler Athletic Complex

Wheeler Athletic Complex was previously known as Wheeler Field and Oneota Park when it was the home to circus grounds and a horse racing track. It sits on land donated by Duluth pioneer Henry Wheeler, who walked to Duluth from St. Paul in 1856. Tucked against the beautiful backdrop of the West Duluth skyline, the Wheeler Athletic Complex contains a range of courts including basketball, tennis, dedicated pickleball courts, and an outdoor skating rink in the winter. It’s a fantastic multi-sport complex for local and regional play, complete with picnic tables and public restrooms.
