At Chester Bowl we believe that anyone should be able to participate in outdoor recreation. We operate a winter ski and snowboard program and a summer day camp. Both have affordable rates plus scholarships available for those that need them. Special events include Fall Fest and the Music in the Parks Concert Series.

Birchview’s Greenhouse and Farm offers a beautiful and unique countryside experience. Our greenhouses are filled with organically grown annuals, vegetables, and herbs. We also offer a large variety of Minnesota hardy trees, shrubs, and perennials. We focus on sustainable growing practices, use primarily compostable pots, and provide excellent customer service and gardening advice. Ski Hut has been family owned and operated on the same street corner since 1955. Whether it was your first bike, Nordic skis, downhill skis, snowboard, or boat, we’ve been here for you. A familiar yet new resort along the shores of Lake Superior. Harbor View Sanctuary stands right next to McQuade Safe Harbor. You may remember the name as Elmgren’s Motor Court or Gardenwood Resort & Motel. Same place, different name, newer vibe!
