We are dedicated to offer free boating that provides nature experiences and learning opportunities for seniors, first and foremost, as well as veterans and those with special needs. The St. Louis River Experience (SLRE), is a non-profit 501(c)(3) which makes our program possible and free of charge through the support of businesses, organizations and a dedicated experienced staff of 100% volunteers. SLRE volunteers take seniors, veterans and those with special needs out on a specially-equipped pontoon to enjoy and take in nature’s breathtaking sites on the river. Our reservations typically open to sponsors in April and to the public in May. Visit our website to learn more and book an awesome trip for your organization! Our pontoon is docked at Pier B – 800 W. Railroad Street in Duluth, where all trips depart and return.
