At Chester Bowl we believe that anyone should be able to participate in outdoor recreation. We operate a winter ski and snowboard program and a summer day camp. Both have affordable rates plus scholarships available for those that need them. Special events include Fall Fest and the Music in the Parks Concert Series.

We are dedicated to offer free boating that provides nature experiences and learning opportunities for seniors, first and foremost, as well as veterans and those with special needs. The St. Louis River Experience (SLRE), is a non-profit 501(c)(3) which makes our program possible and free of charge through the support of businesses, organizations and a dedicated experienced staff of 100% volunteers. SLRE volunteers take seniors, veterans and those with special needs out on a specially-equipped pontoon to enjoy and take in nature’s breathtaking sites on the river.
