Welcome to the walk-in campground in Bagley Nature Area, right on the UMD Campus. This tents-only campground offers six rustic campsites, surrounded by forests. Enjoy hiking on the wood-chipped trails, explore the forests, and discover tent-camping. Close to the Superior Hiking Trail. Parking is at a nearby gravel parking lot. You’ll have to carry your gear into your campsite (no carts are provided and vehicles cannot drive in).

Spirit Lake Marina & RV has an assortment of kayaks, canoes, pontoons, and bikes available to rent. Spend an afternoon biking the Duluth Lakewalk, or any of the numerous nature trails nearby like the Munger Trail. Discover the natural wonder of the lazy St. Louis River by kayak, or haul your fishing gear and a full cooler by canoe to find your own fishing spot. PFDs, paddles, and all safety equipment are included with all SLMRV rentals. About the RV Park Scenic surroundings along the St. Louis River: It’s not exactly extreme camping mind you, what you’ll find are nice RV campsites along the St. Louis River. Amenities include showers, laundry, and on-site ships store. Digital explorers will appreciate our free WiFi. And, of course, we allow pets.
Spirit Mountain Campground
Located just minutes from Downtown Duluth, Canal Park, Bayfront Park, the Lakewalk, shopping and many area attractions. Spirit Mountain Campground offers walk-in tenting as well as 73 campsites equipped with fire pits, picnic tables, and electricity. Thirty-nine sites have water hook-ups, and two shower buildings offer 24-hour convenience.
River Place Campground
River Place Campground is located on the shores of the scenic St. Louis River. River Place provides waterfront camping at its finest and is located just minutes away from Jay Cooke State Park and the Willard Munger Trail.
Lakehead Boat Basin Inc.
Lakehead Boat Basin offers 30 RV parking sites. Twelve of the sites have water, electric and sewer. These sites are located immediately to the right as you enter the gated area and overlook the main front dockage area of the marina.
Duluth Indian Point Campground
Pitch a tent or nestle your RV into pull-through campsites on a point of land high above Spirit Bay. Tall maples, elms, and pines surround the park-like commons with campsites throughout, each having a picnic table, fire pit and hook ups. Amenities include showers, laundry, and on-site store.
