Sky Harbor Airport

Lake Superior Helicopters will host a helicopter open house on Thursday, July 31, 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., at Duluth Sky Harbor Airport, 5000 Minnesota Ave. The event is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in becoming a professional helicopter pilot or just seeing helicopters up close and learning more about the aircraft are encouraged to attend. Helicopter tours will also be available for purchase as well. Several local youth groups have been invited to attend so that area kids can be introduced to the world of aviation and aviation related career paths. All are welcome, open to all ages. Lake Superior Helicopters partners with Lake Superior College to offer a comprehensive, two-year professional helicopter pilot degree program for aspiring professional helicopter pilots.
