Great Lakes Aquarium provides on-site and outreach educational programming to learners of all ages. Daily interpretive programs give guests the opportunity to learn more about resident animals while watching them eat, play or interact with our staff. In addition, classes and formal programming engage more than 10,000 pre-K-12 grade students each year. Teacher workshops and visiting speakers provide enriching experiences for adults. The Aquarium may also be rented for receptions, proms and other special events.

    Explore a spookily-decorated Aquarium, trick-or-treat among the exhibits, and show off your creative costumes! We will provide crafts, projects, and games as well as activity materials to take home and enjoy. Great Lakes Aquarium proudly participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project. That means that no edible treats will be provided during trick-or-treat. IMPORTANT: Pre-registration is required for all parties! 2024 Dates: Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Cost: Adults: $20.00 Youth (age 13 – 17) $16.00 Children (age 3 – 12): FREE!
