Join us for our 11th Annual Concerts on the Pier season at Glensheen! This series is the premier Minnesota summer concert experience, featuring Duluth and Minnesota-made artists performing on our pier that juts out into Lake Superior. Concertgoers pack the shoreline and arrive to watch the show via every type of watercraft imaginable or sit along the shoreline. Openers perform 5:30pm - 6pm continuing with headliners from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Bring a lawn chair or explore the grounds to find the perfect spot to enjoy music by local favorites. Come by car, foot or watercraft – all people and ages are welcome! Food and beverages are available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public from 5:30 to 8 pm. Gates open at 5 pm, however, for those interested, early access can be obtained by purchasing grounds admission or a tour. Each night, the opener will perform from 5:30-6 pm and the headliner will play from 6:30-8 pm. At Concerts, guests can connect with neighbors and friends, play lawn games, grab some grub from a local food truck, enjoy a refreshing drink, eat locally-made ice cream, and...

Join us as local author and historian Tony Dierckins celebrates Duluth structures on the National Register of Historic Places, the city’s historic districts, and official city landmark buildings and homes, sharing the stories of successful and failed efforts to preserve these monuments to local architecture. Adapted from his book Duluth’s Grand Old Architecture.
