I enjoy connecting my life to the landscape before me. My paintings reflect nature's impact on my life." Sue traveled to Norway in May 2024 to paint and draw its beauty. It was a US cousins trip visiting Norwegian cousins and traveling the country. "I wanted to paint the beautiful vistas, and importantly, capture the moment with family. It was a pleasure to visit and revisit the farms, forest, and rocky coast of Norway. The connection on both sides of the ocean was poignant.
