Inga Entheos is a Duluth based band sharing original music with a mix of belty vocals, classical guitar, and a driving, grooving rhythm section. “Entheos” is a Greek term for “divinely inspired to create.” With this intention, the lyrics and ambience of the music create a complex sound and thought process aiming to highlight unity and self expression. Front woman, Inga Weis, has crafted the current repertoire over the last four years. With a Nordic inspired blend of rock and folk, Inga Entheos seeks to steward a fun-loving and heart-felt musical landscape that is open to all ages. Hot Tamale Cosmos is a group of artists from the Northland who have all had their own projects and successes and have come together over common love of song and harmonies. These women have performed in such groups as, and not limited to: Danny Frank and the Smoky Gold, Boss Mama and the Jebberhooch, Ross Thorn Band, Junkyard Mule, Feeding Leroy and the Morris Park Singers. They are a new project and will be sharing original tunes as well as covers by artists such as Iris Dement, Bob Dylan and Gillian Welch.
