Get on down to Bent Paddle every Monday in March to enjoy live local music, industry night specials and positive vibes galore. Being the city that's forged some of the biggest names in music, Duluth is also home to Jumpsuit — a funk/jam outfit with a big side bowl of soul. On the rise, these funky folks are a culmination of individuals who have shared the stage with many of those names and more. Jumpsuit features Emanuel Eisele and Marshall Dillon on guitars, Calzone on bass, Ian Hopp on drums, Courtney Ellian on keys/backup vocals, and Erica “Ricky” Francois and Madi Phyle on lead vocals. Rich Mattson and the Northstars Album Release Show! | Live on the Cosmic Stage!
Bent Paddle Brewing 1832 West Michigan Street, Duluth, MN, United StatesWake Up Songs is the 7th offering from Rich Mattson and the Northstars, an American Cosmic Rock band based in the nether regions (Iron Range) of northeast Minnesota (Sparta, to be precise). The music explores the outer limits of their cosmic sound, with exploding drums, hypersonic guitars, slippery bass syrup, and soaring over the top of it, as always, the sweet harmonies of Rich Mattson and Germaine Gemberling. Their last full-length record, "Out There," was released in 2022, followed by the 2024 single "Rendezvous With a Star" and 3-album set of solo acoustic versions from Mattson (“Spartan Tracks Vol. 1-3”). The group was invited to open for the mighty Built To Spill on a tour from Minneapolis to Pittsburgh.
