Bayfront Festival Park is one of Duluth’s most beautiful public parks located on the shores of  Lake Superior.  Visitors to the park can view ships from around the world entering the harbor under the Aerial Lift Bridge. Bayfront Festival Park is home to a variety of events and activities throughout the year.  Enjoy an exciting array of festivals featuring music, entertainment, art and food.  During winter months, there is ice skating and a holiday lighting display. Take a walk around the festival grounds, stage and past the harbor.     Presented by Honor the Earth Water is Life Festival at Bayfront Park features the Indigo Girls, Low, Ani DiFranco, Allison Russell, Annie Humphrey, Keith Secola, Joe Rainey Sr., David Huckfelt & the Unarmed Forces, Corey Medina and more artists to be announced. Local, organic food vendors, regionally-sourced food and beverages, and a variety of organizations centered around sustainability, Indigenous rights, climate, and clean water will all be onsite. This year’s commemorative “Water is Life” Poster by Native artist Tongva Mer Young* was commissioned by Honor the Earth to encourage Indigenous artists in their work.

    The Great Race is coming to Duluth, MN! On Friday, June 24th participants will make a stop in Bayfront Festival Park. Download the flyer for more information About the Great Race Tom McRae and Norm Miller organized the first Great Race, back in 1983. They worked hard to promote the event, and turned it into one of the greatest automotive events of all time. The Great Race is a time, speed, endurance rally, meaning the goal wasn't to get to the finish line first, but to precisely finish each checkpoint in a pre-determined amount of time. Each vehicle has a driver and a navigator, and the team uses a calibrated speedometer to make sure they stay on schedule, according to the day's route.
