Duluth welcomed a handful of cruise ships in the mid-1990s and early 2000s. However, 2022 saw a new era of passenger cruising come to the Twin Ports. In the summer of 2025, ten ships will enter our Duluth-Superior harbor under the Lift Bridge. Duluth is now considered an attractive passenger destination and the cruise industry forecasts more leisure cruises in our area in the years to come. Many cruise guests have never been to Minnesota and are delighted by our city, its hospitality, and all it offers visitors.
