Jazz at the Depot: Jazz In Film

Whiplash, Casablanca, Austin Powers, and even A Charlie Brown Christmas are all examples of the deep history of big band jazz showing up in film, and also share the distinction of being movies we’re playing tunes from in the Duluth Community Jazz Band’s winter concert.

DCJB is made up of passionate, talented community musicians who are your friends, neighbors, and coworkers that want to play high level music but not as a profession. Don’t let the word “community” fool you – this band can really swing.
