Celebrate Independence Day in a big way as FourthFest returns to Bayfront Festival Park on Saturday, July 4th, for a full day of live music, food, family fun, patriotism, and what organizers believe will be the largest and most spectacular fireworks display ever presented on Duluth’s waterfront.
This annual Northland tradition will commemorate America’s 250th Birthday with entertainment throughout the day featuring top local and regional acts, great food, crafts, and activities for all ages.
Gates open at Noon, with live entertainment beginning at 12:30 PM.
ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE
12:30 – 1:15 PM — The Perpetual Guests
(Featuring young musicians backed by professional artists, directed by Luke Perry)
1:30 – 2:20 PM — Steven Solkela’s Patriotic Event
3:00 – 4:00 PM — Sound Inc Reunion
4:15 – 5:15 PM — Siren
5:30 – 6:15 PM — The Sydney Hansen Band
6:30 – 7:20 PM — The Voyageurs

“Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday on the shores of Lake Superior makes this year’s FourthFest especially meaningful,” said Tracy Lundeen of Lundeen Productions. “We’re proud to bring the community together for a full day of music, patriotism, and family fun — capped off with what be the largest and most spectacular fireworks display ever presented on Duluth’s waterfront.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their patriotic spirit for this rain-or-shine celebration.

Celebrate Independence Day in true Duluth fashion with great music, tasty food, fun activities, and one of the region’s most spectacular fireworks displays—only at Bayfront Festival Park!
- Entry is FREE
- Early arrival is encouraged
- Service animals only are allowed
- No bottles, cans, coolers, outside food/beverages, fireworks or weapons are permitted inside the event.
- No outside signage, noisemakers or bullhorns are allowed.
- Do bring one factory-sealed or an empty water bottle per person. Water fountains are located across from the portable restrooms. Camelbacks or other hydration bladder systems are not allowed.
- Food, Bar and beverage concessions are available inside of the park.
- Please no outside food. Family/medical accommodations can be made upon request
- All bags and purses will be subject to security checks.
- You may bring your own chair (subject to search at security) to this concert.
- People may set up chairs on either side of the fence line for this event.
- Patrons may not assemble any flags, umbrellas, tents or other items that could obstruct viewing for patrons behind them.
- Tailgating is not allowed in any of the parking lots or festival grounds.
- No smoking is allowed at Bayfront Festival Park or in the parking areas.
