Community Engagement in U.S.-Russian Relations from the Cold War to Today.
Dr. Doug Nord will discuss his new book that examines Duluth’s conduct of sister-city diplomacy over the past four decades, exploring how community engagement in international affairs was initiated and conducted and the lessons that can be learned from Duluth’s experience. Special attention will be paid to the linkages between Duluth and Petrozavodsk, Russia.
