Duluth artist AJ Atwater debuts New York City and Lake Superior original abstract acrylic paintings at the AJ Atwater Fine Art Estate Sale on Saturday, April 12 at AJ Atwater Art, 4701 Cooke Street, Duluth, MN from 11AM-4PM.

One hundred thirty of AJ’s cream-of-the-cream from her painting collection on stretched canvas will be sold in 6 sunlit galleries with hardwood flooring in Atwater’s studio and gallery known as the historic Frank and Alison Crassweller home in Duluth’s Lakeside neighborhood. Prices are $75.00-$750.00 on many new and never before seen paintings. Buy or bid for paintings sized 4’ x 5’ to 10” x 10”. Twenty pieces painted in New York City’s Chinatown and at the Art Students League of New York under lyrical landscape painter Ronnie Landfield will be sold alongside Lake Superior-inspired work in galleries titled: Northland Gallery, North Shore Gallery and Lake Superior Gallery. There’s even a gallery titled Craft Beer!

Atwater, a long-established Duluth abstract artist, quoted from media, says, “every painting, no matter what scale, involves a push and pull, whether four by six inches or massive.” Atwater added how some pieces involve “conversation between colors, the interaction between the colors… letting them have conversation on the canvas.”

AJ will be on hand to personally sign paintings and help first time art buyers and art collectors choose affordable original artwork for home, office and cabin from her select New York City and Lake Superior abstract paintings.
