SUMMARY:Buckthorn Pull at Moose Mountain SNA
DESCRIPTION:Come out and help us remove invasive species at Moose Mountain SNA. The task for the day will be pulling young buckthorn\, a plant that invades woodland areas and out-competes native species. As an added bonus this is a wonderful site to view fall color! Registration in-advance is required. To register\, please email arika.mcgraw@state.mn.us. Tools\, instructions\, and good camaraderie will be provided. Bring water\, snacks\, and dress for working in the weather. Footwear appropriate for outdoor work/hiking is recommended. If you have your own gloves you’d like to use\, please bring those as well.
