Duluth does winter right. We’ve got miles of groomed snowmobile trails that are perfect to shake off cabin fever and get you out in the fresh air. Below you’ll find information and resources about local trails and trail maps. Local trails include:
Duluth Cross Town Trail – West Section
Length: West Section – 33 miles.
Trail access: Hwy 23 and 131st Avenue West or Grand Avenue and 72nd Avenue West.
Maintained by Over the Hill Night Riders Snowmobile Club
Duluth Cross Town Trail – East Section
Length: East Section – 12 miles
Trail access: 61st Avenue East and Lester River Road.
Maintained by Drift Toppers Snowmobile Club
C.J. Ramstad/North Shore State Trail
Length: 146 miles from Duluth to Grand Marais

Hermantown Night Riders
Developed and maintains 59 miles of Grant-In-Aid trail connecting the Munger Trail in the South, North to Fish Lake and the North Shore trail. Running through Duluth, Proctor, Hermantown, Rice Lake, and Fredenberg, Minnesota
