Duluth has it all
An amazing array of trails. Off-road cyclists can challenge themselves over ridgelines and rocks on more than 45 miles of single-track trails, or head to Spirit Mountain for the only lift-access Mountain Biking in all of Minnesota.



World-Class Biking
You can ride year-round on world-class trails. Take a peek at what you’ll find in and around Duluth with videos from local bikers and tour operators. Duluth’s Ride Center is recognized by The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) as one of only seven Gold-level centers in the world.
Duluth Biking Trails
Spirit Mountain is closed for the season but the following trails are officially open to the public:
- All Weather Trail
- Happy Camper
- Candyland
- Smorgasbord
- Duluth Traverse
- DWP
- The MTB skills park and pump track
All other trails at Spirit Mountain remain closed to the public
Mission Creek
Access: Chambers Grove Park, at the intersection of MN 23 and MN 210
Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Trail Length: 7 miles in 2014
Hartley Park
Access: 3001 Woodland Ave
Skill Level: Intermediate
Trail Length: 9 miles
Lester Park
Access: 61st Ave. East & Superior Street
Difficulty: Intermediate (but 90% non-technical)
Length: Lollipop with a mile long stem and a 4.5 mile loop
Piedmont
Access: Hutchinson Rd., Haines Rd, Skyline Parkway
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced
Length: 9 miles
Mont Du Lac
Access: 3125 S Mont Du Lac Dr. Superior, WI
Difficulty: Intermediate Cross Country Trail with Advanced Level Downhill Trails
Length: 4 miles
Pokegama
Access: Intersection of 105 and Old 105, Superior, WI
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced
Trail Length: 7 miles
