Duluth welcomes back the Columbus, a German owned and operated cruise ship, on their Great Lakes trip between Chicago and Toronto. This is a private, yacht-like cruise ship that accommodates up to 420 guests, with private balconies and numerous deluxe amenities.
Their unique itinerary takes in a number of popular Great Lakes spots, including our international port city of Duluth.
As members of the Great Lakes Cruising Coalition – Visit Duluth and the Duluth Seaway Port Authority - along with other entities in Duluth, has worked diligently to bring cruise ships back to Lake Superior and the port of Duluth.
The first arrival will be September 14th and the last visit is September 22nd. These are day visits only and there are no public tours of the ship offered.
